About this collection
Pick by phone, not by the number on the box.
iPhone. Every iPhone from the iPhone 8 on fast charges with a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) adapter of 18W or more. Use a USB-C to USB-C cable for iPhone 15 and later, or USB-C to Lightning for older models. The iPhone 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max go faster: Apple quotes up to 50% in about 20 minutes with a 40W adapter or higher. For the iPhone 18 Pro's top speed, Apple asks for a 60W-capable adapter with AVS, so ask us before you buy for that phone.
Samsung. Super Fast Charging uses USB PD with PPS (Programmable Power Supply), and Samsung's own 25W and 45W adapters list PPS in their specs. For 45W you also need a Galaxy that supports it (Samsung lists models such as the S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra) and a 5A USB-C cable. A phone that takes less than the charger offers simply charges at the speed it can handle.
Spotting a fake. For the Apple 20W (model A2305), check the print, the weight and the output; our guide shows how. Good copies pass the MacBook test, so we open 10 adapters from every 100-piece lot and reject the whole lot if one fails. On boxed Anker chargers, check the security code on Anker's verify page; not every box has one.
